The electrifying beast — Werash
Werash is an electric-type Artie from the planet Nion. He is from the species Carqroks. Over the years, they have adapted and evolved to use electricity due to their planet’s harsh environment. Nion is a very dangerous planet, having an extremely arduous climate. Besides erupting volcanos and intense earthquakes, Nion has the most massive and never-ending electrical storms in the known Metaverse. Carqroks, through thousands of years, have learned to master these thunderstorms and have used that power to become the most dominant species on their planet. Their body can produce large amounts of energy in seconds. Even though they are not known to be the smartest creatures, their lethality is rarely ever contested.
As a result of their electrical abilities, the Carqroks species have been hunted for hundreds of years in order to harness their potential, and power the energetic needs of other civilizations. The use of Carqroks as a power source has been steadily growing within other civilizations in the Metaverse.
Werash is a medium size Artie that is canine in appearance; with a blue tint and light blue diamonds on his back, which are believed to be the main source of power in his body. He has deep gray eyes and a large mouth covered in pointy teeth. Though his arms and legs are very short, he can run incredibly fast, enabling him to tire pursuing creatures out quickly. He can attack his pray from a distance, or up close with his electric bite.
He has an abundant amount of electricity flowing within his body. If he builds up enough charge, it may shock other Arties. The sparks that Carqroks can discharge while idle have been known to ignite and start forest fires. Consequently, most habitats that are occupied by these creatures are devoid of large trees, with only sparse, dry grasses sprouting from the earth.
Werash is a solitary hunter that rarely appears before people. He does not like any other creatures, especially human explorers. Because of his mysterious nature, it is believed that he is born solely from lightning and electricity.
Werash’s normal attack is called “Lightning Strike”. He charges up a big amount of electricity, and he can attack other creatures from a distance, without ever putting himself in danger. This move deals electrical damage, and it is very effective against Arties that have low resistance to this trait.
His critical attack is named “Thunderstorm”. Using most of the energy in his body, this powerful Artie can create an instant storm. This special ability allows him to strike with lightning on more than one target at the same time, or multiple strikes on a singular enemy. This can only be used once during the entire encounter.
Werash has fast speed and medium defense, making him quite a balanced and deadly Artie. Players will not have an easy time catching this creature; however, if they manage to hunt them down successfully, they will have one of the most powerful Arties in their arsenal.
