Sailink — the genius inventor from Gorex 9
Sailink is a venomous and incredibly intelligent Artie from the planet Gorex 9. He is part of one of the most advanced civilizations in the entire Metaverse. His species was part of an experiment that attempted to boost the intelligence in some creatures. The goal was to infuse their brains with AI, allowing them to access all sources of information without any other device or obstacle. The invasive experiment was promptly ended due to massive protests from species activists, concerned about the philosophical implications and violation of rights; but not before Sailink and his species would change completely. They became hyper-intelligent, and learned how to control their new abilities.
Sailink, along with others, developed the most advanced technologies in the whole galaxy, which allowed Gorex 9 to become one of the richest and most modern planets. His species is now in charge of doing the intense and complicated calculations of trade between intergalactic civilizations, as well as the calculations needed for light speed travel. They became more useful and efficient than any computer or device in the Metaverse. For this reason, most other civilizations and planets have tried to become their allies.
Despite his docile and calm appearance, this Artie can be extremely dangerous. Although they have lived mostly in peace ever since they became so developed, they can also put up a great fight. Their vast knowledge made them able to create the most advanced weaponry, including a very powerful venom. Sailink has a spotted purple body of medium-large size, and armor made of radioactive diamonds covering his shoulders, chest, and head. He has completely black cyborg eyes, with which he can zoom in and analyze thoroughly any environment, as well as thermal and night vision.
Moreover, Sailink has vampire-like fangs, which allow him to poison enemy creatures with his infamous venom. His body can also emit radiation when he has low health, as a defensive measure. He can analyze enemy creatures and find their weaknesses, what perks they are using, and the best strategies to tackle them. Sailink’s considerable control of his own mind lets him put aside any fear, making him immune to fear-inducing attacks from enemy Arties.
His main attack is “Stench”. Sailink emits a toxic spray that deals damage to enemy Arties. If the adversary creature has low health, the damage dealt will be even greater. This toxic spray also slows down the opponent Artie. This move is very handy, especially when the enemy is about to attack.
Sailink’s critical hit is called “Noble Roar”. With his hyper intelligence and deduction, the enemy creature is scanned, and their biggest fear can be found. Then, a proud and majestic roar is emitted, mimicking that fear. This results in the decreasing of the opponent’s attack and special abilities.
This Artie has low mobility, but high defense and intelligence. In summary, this clever and dangerous creature is a must-have in any Artie collection, due to his resourcefulness and prowess in combat.
