Arties — the space creatures of the Metaverse
Arties are the backbone of the iRocket AR metaverse. They are small, cute and fierce space creaturesthat inhabit the Metaverse.
Players in iRocket AR are space astronauts whose goal is to collect and evolve Arties. These creatures can be found in thousands of different locations anywhere around the world. When the user is out on a hunt, the game starts using GPS to create a map with the location of Arties. iRocket AR projects Arties in the real world through the lenses of mobile devices, thus creating an immersive experience for the players.
Upon stumbling upon an Artie, players can engage in battle and eventually catch it if the Artie is successfully defeated.
Each Artie has a unique design as well as different backgrounds and stories. Arties live on the countless planets that populate the expanding Metaverse. From the rocky landscapes of the planet Vestea, to the endless oceans of the planet Wonumi; this vast and expansive universe contains an incredible diversity of biomes and creatures. Arties vary in rarity, each having their own specific traits and abilities that help them battle other creatures and conquer planets. Their different traits and abilities will determine their advantage or disadvantage in different battle scenarios. These stats are Level, HP, Strength, Dexterity, Durability, Intelligence and Ability. For example, some Arties will be more suitable for defensive situations, while others might be better at attacking or being fast. Players will need to be strategic and pick the Arties that better counteract the traits of the enemy creatures.
During their adventures, Arties can grow and become more experienced and even evolve into stronger creatures. With more advanced and leveled Arties, players will be able to go on harder quests and engage with even rarer creatures. Currently at launch, the game will have 10 unique creatures, with many more waiting to be discovered later. Arties have different types of rarity, which is determined by their power level, number of evolutions and perks.
Arties are NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens) creatures that can be sold or traded for other Arties in the marketplace for real-world money, powered by cutting edge blockchain technology. The price of each Artie will vary depending on its rarity and level. Having a marketplace will allow for players to get access to the Arties they like the most but have not found in-game, and even earn money by selling them to other players. By playing, users will collect DUST, which is the in-game and marketplace currency. Winning battles and interacting with the world is the main path to acquiring more DUST, which can be spent to upgrade the Artie stats and perks, as well as to gain access to new levels. New players will be able to start their journey without having to purchase Arties in advance; they will receive a non-transferable Artie, with limited earning potential and time restrictions.
